Veterinary Care

Recommended Veterinarians

Selecting a knowledgeable rabbit vet is one of the most important decisions that you can make towards the long term health and happiness of your bunny. You should be pro-active when selecting a vet by asking lots of questions. How many rabbits does he/she treat? How long has/she been treating rabbits? What is his/her spay and neutering success rate? What kind of diet does he/she recommend? Is he/she a bunny owner himself/herself? You get the idea.

Optimally, you should select your vet and have your bunny examined before you have a medical crisis. Keep in mind that rabbit vets aren't as common as cat and dog vets. Therefore, you should have a backup plan for the occasions that your regular vet is closed or unavailable.
