HaHa

This is Steve and Shannon's bunny, HaHa.
HaHa is a four year old, three pound Netherland Dwarf who was originally left on the doorstep of the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center. Since they don't handle bunnies, she was transferred to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. HaHa came with a note and some supplies from a college student who had left her behind.
For the majority of her stay at the shelter, HaHa was a pretty introverted bunny who preferred to spend her time sitting inside her plastic igloo. She was spayed during the summer of 2007 by a vet in Columbus who had volunteered her services. HaHa then went to stay with Steve and Shannon to recover from her surgery. She never left.
Once she was given a large corral to live in, HaHa went from an introverted bunny to a territorial one. Her zeal for defending her territory from the "invading" humans has reached epic proportions. She now has many nick-names, of which Caligula, Bunnzilla and Bunnicula are just a few. Regardless of her behavior, she is much beloved by her humans.
HaHa's dark secret is that once she is out of her corral, she displays quite the Dr. Jeckyll / Mr. Hyde transformation. If you risk the teeth and the oinking to pick her up, you'll find that she transforms into a utter sweetheart.
HaHa goes berserk and will do many a zoom and bink when she spots Steve coming up the stairs with a scoop of pellets in his hand. She especially loves the moment directly after her hay tub is refilled; wasting no time in digging in. Additionally, she can munch some serious greens, of which dandelion are her favorite.
Though she nips, oinks and charges with teeth bared, we'd not give HaHa up for the world.
