Bertie was born on Thanksgiving Day, 2007. She was brought to the Humane Society in early January because her owner was unprepared for a litter of baby bunnies. Bertie, who was named after Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, is a somewhat shy girl who likes to snuggle with her siblings (Nala and Spottie). She has a good appetite and digs right in when given her pellets. It takes her a while to warm up in the exercise pen, but she certainly enjoys her chance to kick up her heels.

Bertie was adopted on February 24, 2008.
