Piper

Adopted

Description

Piper is a adult, small-sized, brown and white Mini Rex with good litterbox habits who is looking for a home with an experienced bunny caregiver. Additionally, Piper has been altered and is currently bonded to another bunny.

We're not sure how she would do with children or pets. We've learned that Piper tolerates being picked up and held and she tolerates sitting on laps.

Piper became a shelter bunny on April 04, 2009 and was adopted on December 18, 2009.

About Piper

Piper is a very friendly and outgoing bunny who loves to say hello whenever someone stops in to visit. We often see her, standing on her back legs, nose poking through a gap her cage bars, wanting some attention. Or, is it wanting to be fed? It’s hard to tell with Piper, sometimes.

She’s an enormous fan of greens and can munch amazingly large quantities for such a small bunny. We think that this is great since certain brands of pellets do not necessarily agree with her. Because of this, she’ll need to be fed a specific brand of pellets along with hay and greens. Or, if she’s fed ample greens, the pellets can be forgone completely.

If you’re looking for a sweet and social bunny, Piper might be the girl for you. She’s a wonderful bunny.
