Dunkers

Adopted

Description

Dunkers is a adult, small-sized, black American Fuzzy Lop with good litterbox habits who is looking for a home with an experienced bunny caregiver.

We're not sure how she would do with children or pets. We've learned that Dunkers tolerates being picked up and held and she tolerates sitting on laps.

Dunkers became a shelter bunny on October 22, 2008 and was adopted on July 11, 2009.

About Dunkers

Dunkers was found in the parking lot of a Church’s Chicken somewhere downtown and brought to the Humane Society by a good samaritan.

After getting to know her, we’ve found that she’s a very independent-minded bunny. For the most part, she’s content to do her own thing which mostly consists of digging in her litter box or redecorating her cardboard box condo.

Dunkers needs a patient home that is willing to put in the time to help her become a little more outgoing. We suspect that she spent all of her previous life mostly ignored in a cage before the former owner got tired of taking care of her and turned her loose. Since she’s gone to a foster home, she’s made great strides, but still needs that forever bunny Mom or Dad to help her get to the next level.
