Blossom

Adopted

Description

Blossom is a adult, medium-sized, harlequin colored Mini Lop with good litterbox habits who is looking for a home with an experienced bunny caregiver.

We're not sure how she would do with children or pets. We've learned that Blossom tolerates being picked up and held and she tolerates sitting on laps.

Blossom became a shelter bunny on June 19, 2008 and was adopted on July 13, 2009.

About Blossom

Blossom came to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton in June of 2008 as part of a cruelty case and has been kept in foster care ever since. Transcending her dubious beginnings, she has turned out to be a very friendly bunny who enjoys pets. In fact, she will run to the side of her pen and cage to let you know that she would like some attention.

Typical for most bunnies her age, she has a lot of energy and likes to run around when she is out for exercise. She is a relatively independent bunny who likes to be held only for short periods of time before she will want to be put down to do her own thing.

As to her favorite foods, she really loves hay and greens and especially likes a bit of banana and apple as a treat.

Blossom is in need of a home with lots of room to run and play. As with any young bunny, you will need to keep an eye on her during exercise time because she can be rather quick on her feet.

Overall, Blossom is a wonderful girl who would make a great addition to any bunny loving household.
